This workshop, operational for over fifty years and owned by a Palestinian family for generations, employs 15 talented artisans from Jerusalem, the West Bank, and Gaza. These artisans represent diverse backgrounds, including Muslim, Christian, and Arab communities.

Selected for collaboration by the Sumud Stories initiative, this workshop proudly embodies the rich cultural heritage of historic Palestine. Prior to the Nakba in 1948, this region was renowned for its peaceful coexistence among different religions and ethnicities from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea. Our earrings honor this legacy of unity and resilience, advocating for dignity, liberty, and equality for all. They symbolize our collective aspiration for a future where universal human rights prevail throughout Palestine, from the river to the sea, ensuring a free and prosperous homeland.
