This Hirbawi Original kufiya is dedicated to the city of Hebron. A busy trade hub of West Bank. A city of great historical and cultural significance. The Old City of Hebron is UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hebron is also the hometown of the Hirbawi factory. Similar to the Bethlehem kufiya,  Hebron kufiya highlights city accents, rom limestone quarries to grapes, figs, and pottery shops.

By buying Hirbawi, you contribute to keeping the tradition of artisanal weavers alive, the last factory in Palestine and pretty much the rest of the region. You get to own a legendary piece of everyday accessories from the factory that started counting its 7th decade of operation. Read more here



What is Hirbawi Kufiya like?

Oh...Soft cotton. Most likely the biggest you can find, 47” by 47”, which is over 15 sq. ft. of awesomeness. Made on a custom kufiya loom and finished by hand.

beautiful and warm

My sister and I ordered some scarves in 2020 and it took 6 months to arrive because of COVID restrictions but it was absolutely worth the wait!! These are my favorite scarves, they are so beautiful and warm. I live in Indiana, USA where the winters are cold and damp and I am kept so snuggly warm and even get compliments on the beautiful colors (I usually wear this one - Colors of Hebron!💚). And in these dark times I am wearing it on purpose and telling people where they can get one too, to support Palestine. Thank you for this beautiful wearable art 🙏 praying for your freedom 🇵🇸
