Al Quds kufiya, a beautiful representation of the ancient city of Jerusalem, known as Al Quds in Arabic. Handmade in Palestine using traditional techniques, each kufiya showcases the intricate beauty of the city's architecture and rich cultural history. The tan, gold, and brown tassels evoke the colors of the ancient stones, while the gentle patterns capture the essence of the city's winding alleyways and historic landmarks.

Why Hirbawi?

By buying Hirbawi, you contribute to keeping the tradition of artisanal weavers alive, the last factory in Palestine and pretty much the rest of the region. You get to own a legendary piece of everyday accessories from the factory that started counting its 7th decade of operation. Read more here

What is Hirbawi Kufiya like?

Oh...Soft cotton. Most likely the biggest you can find, 47” by 47”, which is over 15 sq. ft. of awesomeness. Made on a custom kufiya loom and finished by hand.

Hand wash or gentle machine wash preferably in delicates bag, line dry. For more dedicated approach click here

Al Quds Glory

Today my long awaited Al Quds kufiya arrived, and it is stunning. It absolutely glows, and it is every bit as finely woven as everyone says. A stunning work of art that I will always wear in jubilant solidarity.

Got this for my son. The gold, cream & brown go well with his russet hair. It looks fantastic on him and he wears it often to university in California. Recommend!

Mine looked slightly different

My Al Quds scarf lacked the gray striping--such as shame as that was the contrast I was looking forward to. It also had a different tag than my other HIrbawi scarves, lacking the Hirbawi name and just saying "Made in Palestine." Might be a quality control issue.

Such a beautiful scarf. I get so many compliments on it
